Conquer Covid Coalition
2020-2022

The Conquer COVID Coalition collaborated with many community partners to keep Alaskans healthy and the economy moving forward. Partnerships included presentations at community council meetings and business-focused events. Team Yuit also prepared various community members — from small business owners to corporate leaders — for media interviews.

Proposition 10: Power Anchorage
2018

The Power Anchorage campaign, which sought to educate the public on the merger of Chugach Electric and ML&P, was multi-faceted. In addition to creating a campaign website, we utilized organic social media, direct mail, newspaper, radio, TV and paid digital ads. We had a variety of voices, including business people, assembly members, conservatives, moderates, and everyday, long-time Alaskans. Some ads were fact-based, and others used humor. We were constantly adjusting our campaign to target different audiences with different messages.

In addition to the multimedia aspects of the campaign, Chugach Electric made 45 public presentations to community councils, Rotary groups, business organizations, The Chamber of Commerce, and more. There were two community-wide Town Hall meetings open to anyone.

Going from 42 percent approval in mid-December 2017 to 65 percent after an eight-week campaign is success in any book.
